airtightness

The Porotherm block work is not airtight as it is. There are 2 ways to make the Poroton wall airtight.

  1. Using wet plaster inside
  2. Using Poroparge inside

You can chase all your services into the walls and using lime based wet plaster internally creating a solid wall surface, that will provide an excellent quality internal wall. No boxi noise and reduced light switch noise. You can fix anything to the block work easily.

You can create a service cavity inside of your block work using dab and slab finish. To provide an airtight layer you will need to use Parge coat on the blocks internally first. For more information about poroparge please visit the product page
